Just a few days back I heard the rumours that iOS 6.1 beta version released for developers would be the final version of the new iOS 6.1, well well it has turned out be true. Apple's iOS 6.1 is now available for download on iTunes and OTA.

iOS 6.1 comes with a few minor new features and fixes, lets look at them:

• LTE support expansion: iOS 6.1 has improved the international LTE connectivity by including various LTE frequency bands, unfortunately 3rd generation iPad wouldn't be able to use this expansion, as they were built specifically for the North American regions.    iPad LTE support chart.  
• iTune glitch fixed: iTune subscribers can download individual songs from iTune. This facility was availabe on iOS 5 but it was mysteriously ditched on iOS 6 (Thank god, I don't have to pay for the entire playlist or an album)
• Siri and Fandango: iOS users can purchase movie tickets with assistance from Siri, using the application Fandango. Users have to download the app Fandango.

With the release of iOS 6.1 the rumours of Jailbreaks are doing the rounds on internet, many are claiming that hackers would release the untethered jailbreaks by this sunday (3rd Feb).
